- White & Case is ending its exclusive association with Indonesian firm Witara Cakra Advocates, marking the end of its on-the-ground presence in Indonesia after nearly a decade. The decision follows recent departures from WCA, including key banking and mergers and acquisitions lawyers. White & Case said it will maintain its regional presence through its office in Singapore. - Cardinal Joseph Tobin of the Archdiocese of Newark retained Ropes & Gray to conduct a third-party review of a 2019 investigation into Seton Hall University, which sparked controversy over the appointment of its president, Monsignor Joseph Reilly. - A federal appeals court ruled that Vince McMahon’s former lawyer improperly withheld documents from a federal grand jury, determining they were not protected by attorney-client privilege due to their connection to fraud.
