Baker Botts Recruits Evan Koster as Derivatives Practice Head

Evan Koster joined Baker Botts as a partner in its corporate practice and head of its derivatives practice in New York, the firm announced Monday.

Koster’s practice focuses on derivatives, commodities, and energy trading in the United States and Latin America. He represents clients in transactions across energy, commodities, fixed income, foreign exchange, and equities. He also advises on regulatory and compliance issues under the Dodd-Frank Act and the Commodities Exchange Act, the firm said.
