Reed Smith Recruits Chris Buchanan as Transportation Partner

Chris Buchanan joined Reed Smith as a partner in its global transportation industry group in Washington, the firm announced Monday.

Buchanan advises clients on synthetic leases, aircraft finance, US citizenship regulations for aircraft ownership, and export finance facilities. He represents clients in leasing structures with an emphasis on transportation, manufacturing, energy, cryptocurrency, and medical equipment acquisitions and financings, the firm said.

He joins from King & Spalding.
