  • Lawyers for MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell face potential disciplinary action after using AI to write a legal brief, resulting in a document containing almost 30 defective citations. Christopher Kachouroff and Jennifer DeMaster of McSweeney Cynkar and Kachouroff, who represent Lindell in a defamation lawsuit, were ordered to explain why they should not be referred to disciplinary proceedings for violating professional conduct rules, as well as sanctioned with Lindell and their firm.   • Two California attorneys were charged in a $14.5 million workers’ compensation fraud scheme. State investigators found that Michael De La Garza and Antony Gluck purchased hundreds of fraudulently obtained workers’ comp claims from a call center targeting Spanish-speaking workers, with De La Garza and his business partner paying $168,750 for 320 clients and Gluck paying $388,500 for 798 clients.
