- Latham & Watkins, appointed by the state of New York to investigate claims of antisemitism at the City University of New York, has been digging deep into students’ and professors’ “activities.” Two Latham lawyers have raised the ire of some on campus by allegedly attending a CUNY faculty meeting “although they did not make their presence known,” and by “operating throughout the university, isolating students, and some faculty.” (Gothamist)
- Mike Gordon is new group general counsel and executive vice president of Chiesi, the international pharma group focused on the “innovative therapeutic solutions” in respiratory health, rare diseases and specialty care. Gordon joined Chiesi in 2014 as head of legal affairs and general counsel for the US region, and earlier in his career was a partner with K&L Gates. (Iberian Lawyer)
- The UK-Irish law firm Browne Jacobson has added a tech and commercial law team from Big Four giant EY Law, led by partners Rowan Armstrong and Alex Mason. The firm launched in Dublin in 2022 to act as a “bridge” between the UK and Ireland on cross-border regulations and related issues. (Browne Jacobson)

- Jennifer Bragg and Bill McConagha have joined Latham & Watkins as partners with the firm’s healthcare practice in Washington. Both join from Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom.
- Andrew Harper has joined Goodwin Procter as a partner with the firm’s technology and climate tech practices in Silicon Valley.
- Jennifer Wolfe will be taking over as Katten Muchin Rosenman’s office managing partner in Chicago, where the firm was founded 50 years ago.
- Greg Ossi has joined Norton Rose Fulbright as a partner in the firm’s Washington office. He joins from Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath.
- Douglas Heitner has joined Latham & Watkins as a partner in its real estate practice in New York.
- Matthew Mao has rejoined Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton as a partner in the debt finance practice in the New York office.
- Gregory Tumolo has joined Littler Mendelson as a shareholder in the firm’s Providence, Rhode Island office. He joins from Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith.
- Greg Dillard has joined BakerHostetler has as a litigation practice partner in its Houston office.
- Grace Pan has joined Carlton Fields as a shareholder in the firm’s national intellectual property property in New York. She joins from Zuber Lawler.
- Isreal Miller has joined Locke Lord as a partner in the firm’s private wealth practice in Dallas. He joins from Atwood & McCall.
