The former US attorney general last Thursday defended the “legitimate concerns” of the protestors at Columbia University whose chants included “NYPD, KKK, IDF, you’re all the same,” despite Covington’s decision last year to co-sign a letter expressing “zero-tolerance” for similar protests.
