Vinson & Elkins Adds Johnston as Partner in Washington Office

Randall V. Johnston has joined Vinson & Elkins as a partner in its Washington, D.C., office, the firm said Monday.

Johnston, who joins from Paul Hastings, has advised on global laws relating to national security review and foreign direct investment filings triggered by cross-border transactions, according to Vinson & Elkins.

Her experience covers national security reviews before the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States and matters relating to sanctions, export controls, customs, the Bureau of Economic Analysis, and the Freedom of Information Act, Vinson & Elkins said.
