Ex-Patent Trial Appeal Board Deputy Chief Judge Joins Buchanan

James T. Moore has joined Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney in the intellectual property section and patent office litigation practice group in the Delaware office, the firm said Monday.

Moore previously served as a member of the senior executive service as vice chief judge, deputy chief judge, and acting chief judge of the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, according to Buchanan.

He has prosecution and litigation experience in private practice and corporate settings, said the firm. Moore will act as strategic IP counsel and provide arbitration services related to intellectual property at Buchanan.
