- Forty-two state attorneys general urged Congress in a letter sent Tuesday to place labels on social media platforms warning of their potential risks to children. A federal plan to add tobacco-style surgeon general’s labels was introduced by Surgeon General Vivek Murthy in a June op-ed. (The Washington Post)
- Former Big Law associate Paul Dans, who previously headed up Project 2025, is now criticizing former President Donald Trump’s campaign, accusing its two top advisers of a series of missteps, lack of preparation, and overconfidence that he says have jeopardized Trump’s chances at being re-elected. - The White Stripes have tapped Robert Jacobs of Manatt, Phelps & Phillips in a suit against Trump, his presidential campaign, and a campaign staffer for allegedly misusing their song, “Seven Nation Army,” in a video posted on Instagram. (Law.com)
