  • Spencer Fane announced plans to combine with Conner & Winters, effective July 1. Based in Tulsa, Conner & Winters employs more than 75 attorneys and works across Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. (Spencer Fane)
  • Troutman Pepper Locke said that it is finalizing a settlement with a former lawyer at the firm who claimed she faced discrimination because she is Black and then was fired ‌for complaining about her treatment. The firm and former associate Gita Sankano said in a joint filing that they reached a settlement in principle and would seek to dismiss the lawsuit. (Reuters)
  • Cooley was tapped to lead an independent review of a deadly shooting at Old Dominion University in March. Partners Rebekah Donaleski and Michael Sheetz were selected to conduct the independent review of the shooting itself as well as campus safety and security measures. (The Virginian-Pilot)
