Privacy Litigator Persson Moves to BakerHostetler in Los Angeles

Spencer Persson joined BakerHostetler as a partner in its digital assets and data management practice group and as a member of the privacy and digital risk class action and litigation team in Los Angeles, the firm announced Tuesday.

Persson focuses his practice on defending litigation involving data breaches, phishing scams, wiretapping and the loss of sensitive personally identifying information. He has defended claims under privacy statutes such as the Video Privacy Protection Act, the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act of 2003, and California’s Customer Records Act, the firm said.
