- A New Jersey former clerk for a borough in Hunterdon County claims in a lawsuit that she was harassed by the mayor and other officials when she took time off for mental health counseling. - Cybercriminals are posing as law firms and lawyers that offer cryptocurrency recovery services to victims of investment scams and steal funds and personal information, the FBI warns. (Bleeping Computer)

- Jeffrey Strenkowski has joined Troutman Pepper’s Washington, D.C., office as a partner in the firm’s energy practice. He joins the firm from Uniti Group Inc., a real estate investment trust company.
- Phyllis Guillory has joined Womble Bond Dickinson as a partner in the corporate and securities group in Houston.
- Andrew Olmem, a co-leader of Mayer Brown’s financial services, regulatory, and enforcement practice, has been named managing partner of the Washington D.C. office.
- Delia Deschaine has joined Squire Patton Boggs’ global corporate practice as partner. She joins from Epstein Becker & Green.
- Andrey Spektor has joined Norton Rose Fulbright’s US regulatory, investigations, securities and compliance practice in the New York office.
- Chad Pasternack has joined Kennedys as a partner in the Fort Lauderdale office.
- Robert McGahan has joined Bradley Arant Boult Cummings as a partner in the banking and financial services and government enforcement and investigations practice groups. He joins from Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP.
- Anita Siegel and Randi Siegel Weniger have joined Bressler, Amery & Ross, P.C. as principals in the trusts and estate practice in the Florham Park, NJ, office.
