Womble Adds Guillory as Partner Advising on Complex Tax Issues

Phyllis Guillory has joined Womble Bond Dickinson as a partner in the corporate and securities group in Houston, the firm said Wednesday.

Her practice will focus on complex tax issues and cross-border transactions, according to the announcement.

Guillory advises on local and overseas tax implications, personnel issues, choice of business entity, and reorganization of business structures to minimize tax liability. She also helps domestic and international businesses and investors navigate the nuances of the US tax system, including pre-immigration tax planning strategies to minimize future income, estate, and gift tax obligations, the firm said.
