Debevoise & Plimpton partner Lisa Zornberg will start next month as chief counsel to New York Mayor Eric Adams. Zornberg, a former federal prosecutor, takes over for Brendan McGuire, who has been with Adams since January 2022. (New York Times)

Meysan Partners has hired the former leader of White & Case’s London litigation department, John Reynolds, to open its first location outside the Middle East, in London. He will be managing partner at the office. (The Global Legal Post)

New York Police legal affairs chief Michael Gerber says he wants to hire more attorneys, improve technology use and be proactive in dispensing law advice. He’s a former prosecutor in New York’s Southern District. (Law.com)
