- Environmental groups are hiring lawyers as they prepare for legal battles with President Donald Trump’s administration over efforts to sidestep federal energy regulations. Earthjustice alone aims to significantly grow beyond its 200 lawyers, anticipating a fight to block what it calls “comically illegal” policies. (Reuters)
- Law professors and legal leaders from top law schools, including NYU, Harvard, Yale, Stanford, and several University of California campuses, issued an open letter speaking out against the Trump administration’s actions targeting law firms, courts, and universities. (Law.com)
