Art Howson joined Akerman as a partner in its corporate practice group in Charlotte, N.C., the firm announced Tuesday.
Howson advises lenders, investors, sponsors, and developers on the financing, construction, and acquisition of renewable energy projects, including solar energy and renewable natural gas facilities. His practice focuses on complex financing arrangements, such as construction loans, term loans, sale-leaseback transactions, and tax credit investments, the firm said.
He joins from Womble Bond Dickinson.
