Robert Schwartz joined Morgan Lewis as a partner in its investment management practice in Washington, the firm announced Tuesday.
Schwartz joins from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, where he served as general counsel. At the CFTC, he represented the agency in several lawsuits challenging its implementation of the Dodd-Frank Act and appeals in enforcement actions, the firm said.
His practice covers the full range of CFTC-regulated products and markets, from traditional derivatives to products like digital assets.
