Mayer Brown Scoops Two Commerce Department Officials as Partners

Thea Kendler and Aiysha Hussain joined Mayer Brown as partners in its export controls and sanctions practice, the firm announced Tuesday.

Kendler will co-head the practice, the firm said.

They join from the Commerce Department’s Bureau of Industry and Security, where Kendler served as assistant secretary for export administration and Hussain was her senior policy advisor.
