- Applications to law schools in Washington soared this admissions cycle, with Georgetown Law Center receiving a record-breaking 14,000 applications—up 25% from last year—the most applications any law school has ever received. - The former US attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia was found dead at her home at the age of 43. Jessica Aber served under the Biden administration from 2021 until January.
