- Clyde & Co is expanding into Seattle through a merger with insurance coverage and trial and defense firm Forsberg & Umlauf P.S. The Forsberg group joining the firm includes 12 partners, 20 non-partner attorneys, and 12 paralegals. Seattle will be the firm’s 20th office in the region, opening as the firm marks two decades in North America. (Clyde & Co)
- LegalRunner, a running and walking group for people working in the legal profession, is growing steadily into a network across the UK. Set up in 2019 by Mark Evans, now president of the Law Society, the group was born out of his own effort to improve his health while dealing with the pressures of legal work. - A retired securities lawyer who once abandoned music for law finally made the album he dreamed about as a teenager. “Your Picture” is the debut by Bill Schalda, a former New York attorney who sang doo-wop in the early 1960s before shelving his ambitions to put himself through law school and build a career.
