  • LeClairRyan co-founder Gary LeClair has obtained a $1.6 million unsecured claim against the defunct law firm under a modified settlement approved by a federal judge in Virginia. District Judge David Novak has been critical of LeClair and a trustee in the court battles stemming from what Novak called the “meteoric rise and fall” of the Richmond-founded law firm.   • London’s Addleshaw Goddard is launching a “social mobility” program for high-achieving students that are “between the ages of 16-17" and “from lower socioeconomic backgrounds.” Participants will get a scholarship, an assigned mentor, and a laptop, as well as monthly skill-building workshops.
