  • Holland & Knight moved into Nashville’s Symphony Place. The firm’s new 145,000 square foot space makes it the anchor tenant of the office tower in the city’s SoBro neighborhood. (Holland & Knight)
  • Weil, Gotshal & Manges opened a new office across two floors of Boston’s Lyrik Back Bay, increasing the firm’s footprint in the city to 37,379 square feet. Weil plans to occupy additional space in the building over the next year to support expansion. (Boston Real Estate Times)
  • The San Diego office of Kelley Drye & Warren has relocated from La Jolla to a new 5,000 square foot space in Del Mar. The firm described the move as reinforcing its “continued investment in California.” (Kelley Drye)

Laterals, Moves, In-House

  • Gary Born, Rachael Kent, Franz Schwarz, Marleen Krueger and Danielle Morris joined King & Spalding as partners in the international disputes practice group. They joined from WilmerHale.
  • Stuart Alter joined Milbank LLP as a partner in its tax group in New York. He joins from Akin.
  • Richard Slowinski and Stefanie Kavanagh joined the Wasington office of BakerHostetler as partners in the tax practice group and members of the international tax team.
  • Linda Barrett joined Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison as a partner in its executive compensation department in New York. She was previously a partner at Simpson Thacher.
  • Susan Carney Lynch joined BCLP as a partner in its litigation and investigations department in Washington, D.C., the firm announced Monday. She joins from the Department of Justice.
  • Chris Hopkins joined Katten LLP as a partner in its private wealth practice in Chicago. He joins from Perkins Coie.
  • Zhiyan Cao joined Simpson Thacher & Bartlett as a partner in New York, where she will focus on secondaries transactions.
  • Robert Hayes joined Cadwalader LLP as a partner in its finance practice in New York, the firm announced Monday. He joins from a major global law firm.
  • Sarah Pearce joined K&L Gates as a partner in its corporate practice in London. She joins from Hunton Andrews Kurth.
  • Lawrence “Larry” Hill joined Holland & Knight as a partner in its tax practice in New York. Hill joins from Steptoe, where he headed the firm’s tax controversy practice.
