- “Powerful Delaware lawyers” are “agonising” about their state’s business future because of proposed changes to the Delaware General Corporation Law. Tesla co-founder Elon Musk has been railing against the law since a judge “nullified” his $56 billion pay package from 2018. (Financial Times)
- Keating Muething & Klekamp, one of Cincinnati’s biggest firms with 240 employees, has “doubled down” on its downtown office space by signing a 10-year lease renewal at its One East Fourth Street address. “We feel like there’s a benefit to being here, and we love being part of the community,” said managing partner Alan Fershtman. - An “eye-opening” 74% of US residents say America’s system of democracy is “weaker than it was five years ago,” according to an ABA civic literacy survey, due in part to the spread of “misinformation and disinformation.” A sobering 63% of respondents said the general public isn’t informed about “how democracy works.” (American Bar Association)
