- A top staffer at the New York Attorney General’s Office has claimed he was fired for trying to expose misconduct by a chief prosecutor. John Oleske told The Daily Beast that being let go from his job as senior enforcement counsel in October was retaliation for two years of concerns about Chief Deputy Attorney General José Maldonado. - Sherry Talton has joined Ogletree Deakins as a shareholder in Seattle. She served as a principal and member of the disability, leave, and health management practice group at Jackson Lewis PC.
- Peter J. Rooney and James Z. Fang have joined Cahill Gordon & Reindel as partners in the M&A and corporate advisory practice in New York.
- Jennifer Morgan has rejoined Winston & Strawn as a partner in the transactions department and member of the tax practice with a special focus in the energy and infrastructure industry group in Los Angeles.
- Kimberly C. Carter has joined Epstein Becker Green as a member of the employment, labor, and workforce management practice in Los Angeles.
- Josh Birenbaum has rejoined Kirkland & Ellis as a partner in the corporate practice group. He joins Kirkland from Allen & Overy’s Los Angeles office.
- Andrea Lucan has joined Sidley Austin as a partner with the energy, transportation, and infrastructure group in Los Angeles. She served as the office managing partner at Allen & Overy in Los Angeles.
- Vincent B. Lillegard has joined Barnes & Thornburg as a partner in the corporate department in Nashville, Tenn. Lillegard was a partner with Bass Berry & Sims.
- Michelle Porter has been named co-managing director at Goulston & Storrs, effective April 1.
- Tripp Lake has joined Dickinson Wright as a member in Denver.
- Al-Nawaz Nanji has joined McCarthy Tétrault as a partner in the national tax group in Toronto.
- Michael J. Burwick has joined Becker & Poliakoff as a shareholder in the corporate practice in New York.
- Noel A. Fleming and Kayci D. Petenko have joined Archer & Greiner as partners with the Philadelphia office. They were founding partners of Fleming Petenko Law.
- Mary London Fuller has joined Frost Brown Todd as a partner with the product, tort, and insurance practice group in Houston.
- Trainor Fairbrook, a real estate and trusts and estate planning boutique firm, has joined its practice with Buchalter in Sacramento, Calif.
