- Foley Hoag has sued New York attorney Jeffrey Liddle over claims that he owes the firm almost $900,000 in unpaid legal fees. Foley represented Liddle after his own employment and securities firm went bankrupt. (Reuters)
- Litigation funding giant Omni Bridgeway’s new five-person London investment team that it poached from UK-based Augusta Ventures includes Gian Kull, Augusta’s former chief investment officer. Before that, Kull worked for Syz Capitol in Zurich, where he focused on litigation funding and law firm lending. (Cision)
- Britney Spears says Greenberg Traurig litigator Mathew Rosengart was a key player in helping end the conservatorship that had spurred “the darkest chapter of my life.” In her new memoir, “The Woman In Me,” pop music sensation Spears says the “amazing” Rosengart also helped her see that she deserved credit for her court victories.
