Brian A. Carpenter has joined Cole Schotz as a member in Dallas, the firm said Monday.
Carpenter, who joins the firm from Carstens & Cahoon, has experience with patent litigation, commercial litigation, and trials before the US Patent Trial and Appeals Board, according to Cole Schotz.
He represents clients in intellectual property litigation and commercial disputes involving breach of contract, antitrust, trade secret, and unfair competition, Cole Schotz said. He has developed his knowledge of computer chips and architectures, semiconductor manufacturing, networking devices and protocols, telecommunications systems, and data storage.
