Walgreens Sued Over Applicants’ Lie Detector Rights Disclosure

Walgreens Co. and Shaw’s Supermarkets Inc.'s lack of disclosure about job applicants’ rights related to the use of lie detector tests in the hiring processes violates Massachusetts law, according to two proposed class actions.

The cases are the latest in a flurry of lawsuits against companies related to artificial intelligence-based lie detector technology.
