Papa John’s Reaches $140,000 Settlement in Ex-Worker’s Wage Suit

Papa John’s and a former delivery driver reached a deal to settle claims the company violated wage laws when it allegedly caused his hourly pay to drop below state and federal minimums by failing to reimburse him for vehicle expenses.

Andrew Bazemore brought a proposed class and collective action against Papa John’s U.S.A. Inc. and Papa John’s International Inc. in 2022, asserting violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act and Kentucky Wages and Hours Act.
