Knight Truckers Win Final Court Nod for Wage-and-Hour Settlement

Knight Transportation Inc. and truck drivers who say it didn’t provide proper breaks or pay them for non-driving work secured final approval for a $400,000 deal ending their dispute.

There are more than 5,600 truckers in the settlement class, none of whom objected to the deal, the US District Court for the Eastern District of California said. The workers will receive nearly $130 each on average, according to the order docketed Monday.
