Knight Truckers Must Give Court More Info on Proposed Wage Deal

Knight Transportation Inc. truck drivers fixed some problems with a planned $400,000 settlement of their wage-and-hour class action, but they still need to give a federal court more information before they can get the deal approved.

Although the workers have “allayed” the concerns that doomed a prior approval bid, they didn’t “address another aspect of the settlement that now stands in the way of its preliminary approval: the scope of the class release,” the US District Court for the Eastern District of California said.
