Block on Biden’s Latest Student Debt Plan Gets Extended by Court

A court order blocking the Biden administration from proceeding with its latest effort to pare down student debt was extended by a federal court Thursday.

The US District Court for the Southern District of Georgia said its temporary restraining order pausing implementation of President Joe Biden‘s plan would stay in effect for two more weeks as the court considers next steps in a Republican-led lawsuit.
