President Joe Biden’s latest plan to pare down student debt burdens was temporarily blocked by a federal district court in Georgia on Thursday, the most recent in a series of court setbacks to the president’s 2020 campaign pledge.

A coalition of seven Republican-led states was granted a temporary restraining order against an Education Department plan that could grant relief to millions.
