Nike Sues Manufacturer for Allegedly Supplying Fake Sneakers (1)

Nike Inc. sued Los Angeles manufacturer La La Land Production & Design Inc. in federal court over allegations that it supplied streetwear brand Warren Lotas and others with fake Nike Dunk sneakers.

Nike told the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California on Jan. 15 that La La Land supplied Warren Lotas with thousands of pairs of allegedly infringing shoes. The complaint also says Nike thwarted La La Land’s sale of over 20,000 more fake Nike Dunks to Warren Lotas in October when it sued the L.A. streetwear brand for trademark infringement.
