Emergency Injunction Denied to Stop Mountain Valley Pipeline

Virginia landowners lost their bid for an emergency injunction to stop Mountain Valley Pipeline LLC from continuing construction of the more than 300-mile-long natural gas pipeline through their property.

They told the US Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit on Oct. 16 that bulldozers were already on their properties, and claimed on Oct. 23 that Mountain Valley had ramped up their operations in retaliation for the motion for emergency relief.
