Sandia fought off a second lawsuit alleging its decision to strip a Christian employee resource group of recognition and sponsorship ran afoul of protections for religious workers.
Christians in the Workplace Networking Group’s religious discrimination allegations against National Technology and Engineering Solutions of Sandia LLC are barred because the earlier case already resolved them, the US District Court for the District of New Mexico said. An individual worker joined the group as a plaintiff in the new suit, but “every claim and remedy he asserts turns on CWNG’s recognition and treatment at Sandia,” the Thursday order said.
