  • Hollywood lawyer Kevin Morris’ support for Hunter Biden is under scrutiny by House Republicans and has rankled the White House. Morris found a house for Biden’s new family, paid divorce costs to Biden’s ex-wife and footed the bill for Biden’s secuity, back taxes and car payments. (New York Times)
  • Major US plaintiffs’ law firms are encouraging the federal judiciary to encourage live-streamed testimony from witnesses unable to appear in person. The modernization would promote just, speedy and inexpensive determinations of civil actions, the firms said. (Reuters)
  • Vail Resorts has promoted Julie DeCecco to the head of legal operations after she spent seven years with the company. She will replace David Shapiro, who spent almost a decade as general counsel, and who like DeCecco previously worked at healthcare company DaVita. (Global Legal Post)
