Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton has hired tax partner Maureen Linch and intellectual property partner Marcela Robledo in San Francisco, where the Wall Street firm is officially opening an office after expanding to the Bay Area last year.
Cleary launched in Palo Alto in November with the hire of former WilmerHale antitrust partner Heather Nyong’o and a handful of lawyers who moved from the firm’s New York and Washington offices. Bloomberg Law reported in October the firm was planning to join a throng of firms rushing into Silicon Valley.
