Maia Spoto is a Los Angeles-based reporter on Bloomberg Law’s state news team where they cover California courts. They’ve also covered the US Supreme Court and the legal industry, and previously worked on the Texas Tribune’s audience engagement team. Maia graduated from Northwestern University with double majors in journalism and global health studies and a minor in legal studies.
