Trump’s Former Lawyer John Eastman Disbarred in California (1)

John Eastman, who pushed unfounded legal theories aiding efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election, lost his license to practice law in California in an order Wednesday from the California Supreme Court.

Eastman was pardoned by President Donald Trump in November alongside dozens of others, including Rudy Giuliani, who were referenced as “co-conspirators” but not charged in former special counsel Jack Smith’s case against Trump over efforts to overturn the election’s outcome.

Eastman’s attorney, Randall Miller, said he plans to appeal to the US Supreme Court.
