A class action brought by takers of California’s February 2025 bar exam against the vendor whose online platform crashed on test day was paused for mediation.
ProctorU Inc. and the proposed class of bar takers agreed to mediate before retired federal Judge Andrew Guilford on July 14, per a stipulation and order signed Wednesday by Judge Jon S. Tigar of the US District Court for the Northern District of California.
Guilford, formerly a judge in the US District Court for the Central District of California, is now a mediator, arbitrator, and private judge with Judicate West.
