Sotomayor Asks If Same-Sex Couple Ban Affects Interracial Unions

US Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor pressed a lawyer for a wedding website designer Monday about where to draw the line if she has a First Amendment right not to serve same-sex couples.

“How about people who don’t believe in interracial marriage or people who don’t believe disabled people should be married?” Sotomayor asked the designer’s attorney during oral arguments Monday.
