Media Matters’ Delay in Dispute With X Earns Judge’s Reprimand

Liberal watchdog Media Matters for America couldn’t explain at a Wednesday hearing why it waited 15 months to bring a counter-lawsuit against Elon Musk’s X Corp.

The Washington, D.C., nonprofit, which is facing defamation lawsuits from X in Texas, Ireland, and Singapore over its reporting about hate speech on the platform, is asking the California court to halt, with an injunction, X’s litigation in the foreign jurisdictions.
