Latham & Watkins attorney Perry J. Viscounty is representing Lori Loughlin in a college admission bribery scandal, he said on Wednesday.
Loughlin and dozens of others have been implicated by the Justice Department in a criminal conspiracy to bribe college admissions officials to gain entrance for their children to top universities.
Loughlin was arrested Wednesday for allegedly paying $500,000 to ensure her daughters’ admission the University of Southern California.
Viscounty didn’t comment beyond confirming his representation.
Other notable figures caught up in the scandal include actor Felicity Huffman and Willkie Farr Co-Chair Gordon Caplan.
Viscounty handles IP and technology litigation with an emphasis on complex jury trials, according to his firm bio.
His other high-profile clients include Tesla, Apple, Boeing, musician Paula Abdul, and architect Frank Gehry.
Viscounty attended USC as an undergrad and for law school.
