Firearm Company, Insurer to Settle Case Over NY Ghost Gun Suits

James River Insurance Co. and a firearm company it sued in October 2024 agreed to settle a coverage dispute over New York ghost gun litigation.

The issues in the matter have been completely resolved and a settlement agreement is being finalized, James River and SCCY Industries LLC said in a Thursday filing in the US District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
