The Justice Department’s tactic to enforce a subpoena for transgender medical data in an outside jurisdiction has reverberated in several states, as youth hospitals navigate the Trump administration’s efforts to buoy legally floundering probes nationwide.
After DOJ last week successfully asked a North Texas judge to compel production from a Rhode Island provider, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia on Wednesday asked the judge in its subpoena case to re-assert that his venue is proper.
