A Philadelphia-based federal judge partially shut down the government’s request for information about children who’ve undergone gender-affirming care at a local hospital.
The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia doesn’t have to produce child-identifying medical and psychological records requested by the US Department of Justice as part of its investigation into the use of prescription puberty-blocking drugs and cross-sex hormones by those under 18, the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania said Nov. 21.
