Davis Polk & Wardwell has brought on one of the government’s top enforcers in the cryptocurrency space, Robert Cohen of the Securities and Exchange Commission, to work as a partner in the firm’s litigation department in Washington.
Cohen is an SEC veteran who spent 15 years at the commission culminating in a post as chief of the cyber unit in the enforcement division. He will join Davis Polk’s white collar criminal defense and government investigations group in October, where he will represent companies and boards in regulatory and internal investigations.
