Carter Page Seeks to Revive Defamation Case Over His Russia Ties

Carter Page, a former political adviser to President Donald Trump, has asked Delaware’s top court to revive his defamation lawsuit over Yahoo News and Huffington Post articles describing a federal investigation into his potential contacts with Russian officials, according to a filing Tuesday.

The notice of appeal, docketed in Delaware Superior Court, comes about a month after Judge Craig A. Karsnitz dismissed the case, which concerned media portrayals of the law enforcement probe and the so-called “Steele dossier” documenting Trump’s suspected ties to Russia.
