Carter Page Loses Libel Case Over ‘Steele Dossier,’ Russia Probe

Former President Trump adviser Carter Page on Thursday lost a defamation lawsuit he brought in Delaware over Yahoo News and Huffington Post articles describing a federal investigation into his potential contacts with Russian officials.

Delaware Superior Court Judge Craig A. Karsnitz dismissed the case, which concerned characterizations of the law enforcement probe—and of the so-called “Steele dossier,” reporting on then-candidate Donald Trump’s suspected ties to Russia—that appeared in an article by reporter Michael Isikoff and several other online posts.
