Big Tech Must Face Appeal of Anti-Conservative Conspiracy Claims

Google Inc., Facebook Inc., Twitter Inc., and Apple Inc. have lost their bid for a quick ruling upholding the dismissal of claims that they conspire to suppress conservative views online.

The tech giants had urged the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit to summarily affirm dismissal of the suit by nonprofit group Freedom Watch and right-wing YouTube personality Laura Loomer. Their lawsuit, which a federal judge tossed in March, accused the companies of violating antitrust laws, the First Amendment, and the D.C. Human Rights Act by colluding to suppress conservative content.
